About Brick NJ
Brick is a town in Ocean County, New Jersey town on the NJ Shore. It has an approximate population of 73,500 people. A majority of Brick is located on the mainland, but its Ocean Beaches sit out on the Barnegat Peninsula, which is a long, narrow barrier-island separating Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. It was incorporated as a town by an act of the New Jersey Legislature in 1850. It was named after Joseph Brick, owner of the Bergen Iron Works located on the Metedeconk River.
